This week, Roger Boyle, communications specialist was ‘infected’ by the LMP Q&A BUG. The nomination came from last week’s Q&A BUG ‘victim,’ Jared Rosenberg. Check out Jared’s photo Q&A, HERE.
As communications specialist for LMP, Roger manages the LMP.Communications email and monitors incoming requests from lab staff and management. Requests can include updates to licenses and accreditations hosted on the Intranet, sharing outside educational opportunities with staff, promoting UHN initiatives (such as the Speak Up For Safety Survey), and recently helping with graphic materials for an upcoming conference (stay tuned). He will also contribute content to the LMP public website and the LMP blog you’re visiting right now. Roger’s always seeking to share interesting stories about the work that’s accomplished at LMP and the advancements we make in healthcare. Whether it’s in an LMP staff email, our weekly round-up newsletter, The Pathology Report Blog, or UHN News, all the work goes towards keeping LMP staff informed and increasing the profile of Laboratory science at UHN. If there’s anything specific you’d like to see from LMP Communications, please reach out to me HERE!
To learn more about Roger/ the person writing this, check out the photo Q&A below. Make sure to read to the end to find out who’s next to be ‘infected’ by the LMP Q&A BUG. It could be you!
Whereabouts do you live and how do you commute to work?
What was your first job?
Favourite meal to make at home?
What do you do for fun?
If you could be famous for one thing, what would it be?
How would you describe your ideal vacation?
What’s your favourite animal? (Draw it!)
(That’s the look of shame)
What’s on your iPod?
Favourite sports teams?
If you had to describe LMP in three words, what would they be?
If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be?
Because Roger completed the photo series Q&A he was given the opportunity to pass the bug onto someone else… It’s now with great pleasure we announce the next staff member to be ‘infected’ by the LMP Q&A BUG:
Martin Grealish, Pathologist Assistant, Surgical Pathology
