
On Monday, LMP’s Dr. Danny Ghazarian, dermatopathologist hosted the 10th annual John B. Walter Dermatopathology Lectureship Series, which brought the accomplished Dr. Steven Tahan to UHN’s Laboratory Medicine Program (LMP).
Dr. Tahan, associate professor of pathology at Harvard Medical School, and medical director of dermatopathology at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center presented his lecture, “High Risk Scenarios in Dermatopathology: Situational awareness for improved diagnostic accuracy.” The sessions took place at LMP and the University of Toronto Monday morning, and worked to continue the teaching legacy of former LMP pathologist, John B. Walter
The audience consisted of residents, fellows, and medical staff, and Dr. Tahan took the time to share his knowledge and insights in Dermatopathology and answer questions from those in attendance.
Dr. Tahan has published over 90 peer-reviewed papers in the areas of diagnostic pathology, and translational studies on mechanisms of disease. For more information on Dr. Tahan’s research and publications, click HERE.
