Please join us in wishing Wai Wong best wishes on his retirement! Wong has specialized in Pathology for over 51 years and has been an MLT at UHN for the last 31 years. His last day will be October 29.
Prior to starting his career at UHN in 1990, he was a student managing a histopathology lab in Hong Kong.
Wong will always be remembered as having a teacher’s heart. The wisdom and knowledge that he has shared will not be forgotten, along with his sense of humor and dedication to hard work.
From the bottom of our hearts, we wish him all the best in this exciting new chapter of his life and hope it is filled with lots of travelling and time with his wife and son.
Wong’s commitment to UHN’s vision and values has impacted us all and the healthcare of so many. Wong will be dearly missed and will always hold a special place in our hearts – the Histology lab and special stains bench will never be the same.
