This week, Janet Day, administrative assistant for the core laboratory was ‘infected’ by the LMP Q&A BUG. The nomination came from last week’s Q&A BUG ‘victim,’ Pow-Lee Cheng. Check out Pow-Lee’s photo Q&A, HERE.
As administrative assistant for core laboratory management, Janet plans and oversees the schedules and timelines of various lab managers in LMP. In doing so, she plays a key role in the organization of core laboratory operations and the managing and distributing of information within the core lab administrative office. Janet also plans and attends the meetings of various committees within LMP, including the Professional Development Committee, and the Operating Laboratory Management Committee (OLMC), which she creates the agendas and records minutes for.
When completing the Q&A BUG in the core lab administrative office, Maria Amenta, manager for specimen management, and Marni Mills, manager for the core laboratory chimed in, “We would be lost without her!”
To get a sneak peek at the personal side of Janet Day, check out her photo Q&A below. Make sure to read to the end to find out who’s next to be ‘infected’ by the LMP Q&A BUG. It could be you!

If you had to describe LMP in three words, what would they be?
If you had to describe yourself in three words, what would they be?
Because Janet completed the photo series Q&A she was given the opportunity to pass the bug onto someone else… It’s now with great pleasure we announce the next staff member to be ‘infected’ by the LMP Q&A BUG:
